We are thrilled to have the opportunity to be presenting a free concert for the community of Honiara on the 21st of January, at the Pacific Crown Hotel. Supported by the Australian High Commission, the concert will involve artists Charles Maimarosia (Solomon Islands), Kaumaakonga (Solomon Islands), Tjupurru (Australia), Poppy (PNG), David Bridie (Australia), Natty D (Solomon Islands) and emerging artists Jayzon and Ko Beti. After winning a competition presented by Wantok and DFAT, Ko Beti and Jayzon will have the opportunity to perform their original work live at the concert and collaborate with established musicians from the Wantok label.

Following the concert in Honiara, the artists will be travelling to Gizo in the Western Province and then back to Honiara to facilitate a series of workshops for local musicians, covering areas such as songwriting, live performance, establishing copyright, media and publicity and capacity building.
